Lauren and Ryan are such a FUN couple and we had a great time at their engagement session. I met Lauren a few years ago when I photographed her best friend’s wedding and was thrilled when she got in touch with me after her recent engagement to Ryan. I can’t wait to photograph Lauren and Ryan’s wedding in Charleston next year! read more
Patricia and Devon’s engagement session last fall definitely rates up there as one of my all-time favorites. These two have so much chemistry and our location, The Arbors Events looked stunning with the fall leaves at their peak. The ladies a Beauty Asylum did hair and makeup and made Patricia feel amazing about herself. Their September wedding at this same location could not come fast enough. read more
There are few things I love more than running around in my hometown city with one of our beautiful engaged couples. Erica and Chris were so laid and back and we had such a good time walking around the Uptown Charlotte and finding some amazing photo spots along the way. These two met in a kick ball league so right away I knew they are would be a fun couple, and I was right! I cannot wait for their wedding in the vineyards of VA next year.

Cameron and Nolan also had the unique opportunity to have their engagement session set at the Peach Orchards in Fort Mill, SC. We shot their session amongst the peach trees first and then headed over to a nearby wooded area to catch some amazing sunset light. And this light was beautiful, let me tell you, so be sure to scroll all the way down to see the 2nd half of this shoot. I just love Cameron and Nolan. They are so easy to be around, funny, laid back and even a little edgy. I cannot wait to shoot their October wedding at The Whitehead Manor.

Katy and I went to college together and graduated about 11 years ago (gasp!). When she got back in touch after getting engaged to Brad I jumped at the chance to be apart of her Sunday Brunch Wedding. For their engagement session, these two took advantage of the blooming peach trees in Fort Mill, SC. I always love shooting at the peach orchards because these gorgeous blooms only last for about 10 days to two weeks. We started our shoot in downtown Fort Mill (which is adorable btw) for an additional look. Katy & Brad will be husband and wife in just over a month and I am thrilled for them!
Enjoy this lovely couple. read more
The peach orchard blooms are one of my favorite times of the year to shoot. They only bloom for about 7-10 days out of the year so the timing has to be just right as well as the weather. I got the opportunity to shoot Ashley and Clay’s engagement session beneath these gorgeous blooms this year and I love how their session turned out. I can’t wait to get back there and shoot some of my 2016 couples in just over a month!

Natalia and Richie’s McGill Rose Garden engagement session has me getting so excited about Spring! Especially on a cold day like this one. These two are just the sweetest and so easy to be around. Their chemistry is obvious which made them really easy to photograph. Engagement sessions are such a joy to me because this is the time I really get to know a couple before their big day. It is like a dress rehearsal, if you will. After getting a couple hours with this two in the fall, I can’t wait until their summer wedding.

I love everything about Katie Kelly and Tyler’s engagement session, which is why there are so many favorites in this post. These two are so in love and we all had a great time together while shooting. Their interaction can’t help but make you smile as you look at these images. These two are both Charlotte natives (like me!). Tyler is a country boy and Katie Kelly is classy girl, but they make the perfect combo. KK & Tyler, I can’t wait to shoot your wedding next April.
Enjoy!
Amanda and Josh’s engagement session was on one of the hottest days of the year. It was over 100 degrees yet, these two still kept smiling and this session turned out to be one of my all time favorites. You can’t beat shooting at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, the options there are endless. For their 2nd look, we headed to Josh’s parent’s nearby lake house which was just as picturesque. These amazing locations paired with this beautiful and so-in-love couple made for a great evening. The fact that Amanda and Josh are getting married in Amanda’s hometown of New Orleans and that I was already booked on their wedding date made it impossible for me to shoot their wedding next year, but I had such a great time getting to know these two at their engagement session.
Congrats, Amanda & Josh!
I had a blast shooting Britney and Evan’s engagement session a few months back. It ended up being a perfect day with gorgeous light, a gorgeous setting and of course a gorgeous couple. These two have so much chemistry and love to have a great time together, so I know their wedding this October is going to be amazing.
Enjoy!
