There are very few words that describe how much I adore these two. Ariana and Lawrence have become really special to me (and Matt!). We enjoyed shooting their engagement session at The Biltmore last fall and then really got a chance to get to know they at dinner in Asheville after our shoot. We will join them to shoot their wedding in Tuscany, Italy (!?!?!) this fall. I am so thrilled and I can’t imagine how beautiful their big day will be. I just love when a couple wants to use their own neighborhood for their engagement session. This is what we did with Kelli and Colin in the Wesley Heights neighborhood and I enjoyed exploring that area so much. Many Charlotteans agree, one of the most fun things to do in our city is to go to a Charlotte Knights baseball game. Since the stadium has moved Uptown, these games have become a highlight of the Spring and Summer seasons. read more

A couple months ago, I got the opportunity to photograph Caroline and Knox’s engagement session in Uptown. We had an instant connection because of Knox’s name being the same as my youngest little boy. (Love this name!) They decided to go with a sunrise session and the light was absolutely perfect, not to mention how beautiful our Queen City was looking! These two are getting married in Caroline’s homestate of Texas next year and I am thrilled for them. read more
Lindsay & Adam’s engagement session was out of this world. I absolutely love this couple and how down to earth they are. They are both teachers and are working in some of the harder conditions in schools here in NC and they just have a heart of gold when sharing about it. Our location could not have been better. We shot at the Belk family’s Modern Farmhouse in South Carolina. Everything about this place was unreal, it was as if Joanna Gaines designed it herself. read more
