Ariana & Lawrence’s Destination wedding in Montepulciano, Italy was literally out of a story book. I think I could probably create 10 blog posts out of it but I am going to stick with two for now.

Destination weddings are really special because we are able to get to know our couples so well and spend the entire day with them from beginning to end. We started the day by eating breakfast with the groom and their families and it was the perfect start to one of the most beautiful days I have ever photographed. Destination weddings are also wonderful because the guest count is small and intimate which means we get much more time with the bride and groom and the people who are truly the closest to them.

This September wedding in Tuscany (Sienna, Italy) could not have give us better weather. We were actually a little nervous because it had be raining throughout some of our travels around the country in the days before, but I just kept telling myself that the rain would stop. And it did! I got to do some portraits of these two in the olive groves and it was such a dream for me. (Olive trees have a lot of special meaning for me, maybe I will do a separate blog pot about this one day!)

I am so thankful to an amazing vendor team in Italy who made this day go so smoothly. The full list of vendors is at the bottom of the post.

Stay tuned for Part II coming soon.
