Lauren and Rob’s wedding was one of my very favorites. Instead of having a large one-day wedding with lots of guests, these two planned a wedding weekend in the mountains of North Carolina and spent time with a few of their closest family and friends. The day was so laid back and spacial and I loved every minute.Lauren and Rob hired a chef for all their mountian cabin, Chef Jill Aker Ray and she cooked the most incredible food all weekend. This took pressure off the everyone so that could just enjoy their time with the bride and groom. One of the many things I love about small ceremonies or elopement weddings is that they free up time to really take advantage of the scenery and is so much less rushed than a traditional wedding day. Lauren and Rob did their First Look at a nearby mountain overlook off of the Blue Ridge Parkway and it was absolutely gorgeous. These images are some that I will cherish for years to come and I am so thankful to have been able to share in this spacial day with these two kind-hearted people.
