There was just something about my shoot with Dayna and Mike….. As I was culling through the images, I felt to compelled to keep. keep. keep… Maybe it was Dayna’s contagious smile or the sweet demeanor that these two gave off, but I had SUCH a great time shooting their engagement session! We decided to do the shoot at the Billy Graham Library where Mike popped the question. This was such a great location for a cool winter shoot. The style of the library paired with Dayna & Mike’s adorable jackets and hats went together perfectly!

I had the hardest time picking favorites so your will see more shots than usual:). Dayna & Mike, I’m SO looking forward to spending more time with you at your wedding in April!

4 different angles of the same pose and i love them all.

I love this…. Looks so vintage to me.

It is always so special to me when I get to photograph a client more than one time. I did Dashelle’s Baby Bump session when she was pregnant with baby Preston, so getting to know him was such a joy. I always love spending time with Dashelle & Boo who are two of the nicest people ever. We planned a sweet family session with a little Christmas theme and I love the way it turned out.

I love Part II of Brent and Angela’s Wedding just as much as Part I. The Peninsula Club offered so many fun places for portraits and Brent and Angela’s reception was so fun! The kids especially enjoyed all the gifts in their goody bags. The glasses you’ll see were so fun to capture! Enjoy…

Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE outside weddings? Specifically outside weddings in PERFECT November weather under a tent with PERFECT light? Well, I do. And this is what I got when I arrived at Brent and Angela’s gorgeous Peninsula Club wedding. This combined with Angela’s bubbly personality and Brent’s love for his bride made for the perfect day.

Thank you Brent and Angela for letting us be apart of your day. I know you two are going to be SO happy together!

Stay tuned this weekend for Part II of this lovely wedding!

I’m so excited to share these sessions coming up in the next couple of weeks…

I immediately hit it off with Zeynep and Bruce when we first met at Starbucks to discuss their wedding. They are such a fun couple but so laid back at the same time. I got the opportunity to photograph their engagement session a couple weeks ago and I LOVE how it turned out. We started out in the gorgeous Queens University area and then headed to a field with an amazing view of the city. Bruce and Zeynep really enjoy wining and dining, so we thought including a bottle of wine would be appropriate.

Enjoy!

Here’s Part II of the Taylor Family! Love these images so much. Enjoy!

I loved everything about my shoot with the Taylor’s so much that I am going to split their blog post into 2 parts! It is easy to see from these images that this family is so in love with each other and have such a great time together. These 3 little guys were so kind and obedient, yet so fun and willing to do anything for our shoot. It is so nice when a family trusts the photographer completely and that is what this family did. Thank you Taylor family for making this shoot so fun and easy for me, you guys are the best!

I pray that when Oliver is older he looks at me the way this little guys looks at his mama.

A few weeks ago, I got the chance to spend some time with lovely Crane family. They are so nice and photogenic, and I adore Leslie’s style. Their little guy Judah (love this name!) is definitely at the age where he is very attached to his mommy and it was the sweetest thing ever. Thomas, Leslie and Judah are planning to move overseas (hence, the globe) long term in just a few months and it meant so much to me to be able to capture these images of their precious family before they go. Matt and I also have a huge desire to live overseas again one day, so it means so much to me to watch this family leave all their comforts and family here to start a life there. Please pray for these three if you are reading this as you check out their gorgeous images!

I love fall! For me, it is one of the best times of the year for shooting family sessions. The gorgous fall leaves is just one of the reasons I love this family session. The other is that this is the family of some very special friends. I have known Summer since college and we have been involved in each others lives since we met. I got to see her serve overseas, meet her hubby Michael, and become a mommy to Maddox. It means so much to me to be able to walk through life with someone and the Nunn’s have definitely done that with us!

We had a great time at their session. Maddox is at SUCH a cute age. Here are a few of my favorites!
