In my last post, I mentioned how much I love a wedding full of details and Amanda and Blake’s wedding at The Arbors was full of them! We enjoyed spending the day with Amanda and Blake so much we are are so excited for you guys as you start your life as a married couple!

Enjoy.

Amanda and Blake choose to do a first look, which was awesome! Definitely something all brides and grooms should consider. If you are one of my brides considering a first look, please let me know so we can talk about it!

Stay tuned tomorrow for Part II!

As I mentioned in the last post, after Thomas and Hilary’s wedding we got the opportunity to take them Uptown for some night shots. I am so thrilled with how these images turned out! Thomas & Hilary, thank you so much for the joy of working with you, you guys are the best!

Be sure to check out Part I and Part II of Thomas and Hilary’s gorgeous wedding.

I have been excited about posting Part II of Hilary and Thomas’ wedding all day, but with the craziness that Saturday’s hold in the Tucker house, I am just now getting around to it. Hilary had the most amazing DETAILS to go along with her ‘Winter Wonderland’ theme, and I LOVE details. After the reception, we got the opportunity to head uptown with just Thomas and Hilary and do some night shots and I can’t wait to share those! They were originally going to be a part of this post but I couldn’t keep them narrowed down so there is going to be a Part III to this wedding. Stay tuned on Monday for Hilary and Thomas’ stunning Uptown night shoot!

Hilary and Thomas did not want to see each other before the ceremony but they did want to pray together. Just one of the many touching moments of the day.

Stunning!!

I always love the perspective of the 2nd shooter! Thanks, Heather.

This next shot perfectly portrays Hilary’s unbelievably kind spirit.

In lieu of the guestbook, Hilary and Thomas had each guest highlight their favorite Bible verse and sign their name beside it. They will use this as their family Bible for years to come. Such a great idea!

A little DIY photo-booth!

I have been on pins and needles waiting to share Hilary and Thomas’ wedding with you all! The wedding was on January 7th so Hilary went all out with her gorgeous ‘Winter Wonderland’ theme. Little did she know the weather would be 70 degrees on January 7th with beautiful overcast skies. I could not think of a more perfect wedding day- gorgeous decor, perfect weather, and amazing light. I’ll take it! But Hilary and Thomas’ genuine love for one another was truly the theme of the day. They were SUCH a sweet couple to work with as were their family and friends.

Stay tuned tomorrow for part II. Enjoy!

Such a sweet moment Hilary and Thomas had praying with their families during the ceremony.

A few weeks ago I got to meet sweet baby Liam and what a sweet one he was. I’m pretty sure I maybe heard him cry once throughout our entire session. This little guy was born at 6lbs-ish and was so lovable and tee-tiny. His parents, Katie and Michael are just over the moon in love with him, and this shows through so clearly in these images. He is so lucky to have them. Katie, Michael, and Liam- it was a PLEASURE getting to know you! Please keep in touch.

I loved Liam’s bird themed room.

These next 2 images are not my normal style of photography but I love the way they turned out!

Don’t you just love Katie and Michal’s stylish home?

One of my favorite daddy images. Such genuine love for his little guy.

A couple of months ago, Oli and i got together with my friend Heather and more importantly (for Oli) her daughter, my little guy’s main squeeze… Adelai. I have been waiting for the right time to share these photos and I think Valentines Day is perfect!

I know I have mentioned Adelai and Oliver’s special relationship before but in case you didn’t know, Oliver and Adelai were born on the same day- 8-10-11. Not only that but their mommies had the same due date of 8-4-11, are both photographers and go to the same church. So Oli and Adelai get to see A LOT of one another and we don’t think they mind it one bit. It has been so great seeing their little baby personalities come out… Oli is the laid-back pensive type, always observing his surroundings, but he does NOT mind letting you know how he feels at all times (with pterodactyl-like squeals). Adelai on the other hand is the soft spoken, toe pointing, always on the go busy little bee. If opposites really do attract, these 2 might actually fulfill their parent’s dreams and end up together.

I can’t get over how precious our two little monkeys look in their cloth diapers. Oliver is on the right and Adelai is on the left in the next image. Heather and I both shot these photos. Make sure to check her out at Heather Fink Photography.

a little behind the scenes action.

A couple of weeks ago, I got the opportunity to photograph Julie and Jeremy, who are only two of the nicest people in the world. They are expecting their first, a baby boy, right around the corner in March. That’s right, Julie is pushing EIGHT months preggo in these images and you can barely see her bump. Pregnancy definitely looks great on this  girl.

I love they way their session turned out so check it out!

Winter sessions and weddings have been such a JOY this year with our mild 60-70 degree weather. Here’s a peek at what’s to come in the next few weeks!

Baby Bump :: Julie & Jeremy

Just Married! :: Hilary & Thomas

Newborn Love :: Baby Liam

Just Married :: Manda & Blake

I have recently had the opportunity to shoot more and more newborn sessions and to say that I LOVE shooting them would be a gross understatement. I love everything about being around a tee-tiny baby only days old.  Holding them in my arms, smelling their sweet smells, and experiencing the joy and excitement of the new mom and dad. I even like the challenge of getting the baby nice and sleepy and in position. This is why I love my job. I get to be apart of such intimate and special moments.

This was the feeling I got when I arrived at ILeana’s home… There was just so much joy over her arrival . As you can see, this baby girl was not hard to photograph at all… Such a cutie from the day she was born.

An attempt to bring the family dog in for a picture:)

Told ya! (For those of you who didn’t link through Facebook, I was just sharing how GORGEOUS Christina is.)

Christina and Ryan’s baby girl, Tinley is due in just a couple weeks and I know they are on the edge of their seats waiting to meet her. We had such a great time at their baby bump session. After shooting at our first location, we decided to head over to the Panther Stadium for some shots since Christina and Ryan are huge Panther fans. Thanks so much you two for allowing me to capture such a special time in your lives. I can’t wait to meet sweet Tinley!
