Three days, one newborn session, one family session, two weddings… makes for one tired pregnant photographer. And one baby who is getting lots of cuddles on this Monday.
With all the sessions I have been shooting lately, it is hard to beleive there was time to fit in a session with me in FRONT of the camera. Thanks to the lovely fellow photographer but more importantly FRIEND, Cheyenne Schultz of The Schultzes, I was able to finally get some real life head shots taken. She was so gracious to make this happen before I blow up like a whale (again). Here are a few of my favorite shots!
Make sure to click around the website to see these new shots, as well as some other updates and changes!
Stay tuned tomorrow for an extra long sneak peek and Dayna & Mikes Wedding coming at the end of the week!
Little Maddex is truly one of the sweetest babies to ever grace the front of my camera. I literally think I only heard him cry one time in the few hours I was in his home. His peaceful spirit could only come from his wonderful parents who I have grown to love. I got to shoot Julie and Jeremy’s Maternity Session a few months before Maddex was born, so it was truly special for me when I finally got to meet this little guy. Enjoy!
Kaitlin and Trey were true naturals from the first click of their session. I have actually known Kaitlin since we were both wee little ones, so it was sweet to see what a beautiful woman she has grown up to be. Her and Trey wanted some pictures for fun and to give to family and I am so happy they got in touch with me!
Enjoy.
I love Part II of Jenny and Justin’s e-session just as much at Part I! Jenny’s outfit is adorable and the contrast of their style with the rustic location was perfect. Enjoy!
These next 2 images are 2 of my all time favorites!
Jenny and Justin’s engagement session is my favorite to date. Don’t get me wrong, I have LOVED each and every one of my clients, but it was at this session particularly where everything just fell into place. It happens now and then, when everything just feels perfect- the couple, the light, the locations, the style, and me feeling completely clear and fresh as I am shooting. It’s kinda like the perfect storm. So because of this, I have picked a ridiculous amount of favorites from this session. And this is just part I! I always try to limit my favorites because I am told people won’t continue to scroll down and therefore comment, but I just couldn’t help myself. So scroll all the way down… Just do it, you won’t regret it.
And stay tuned for part II. It’s just as delicious!
I hope you made it! Now tell me what you think:).
Amanda and Kerry are great! They were so laid back when 3 (yes, THREE) of our scheduled engagement shoots got rescheduled because of rain (or snow). We finally made it happen on a sunny day a few weeks ago and I couldn’t be more pleased with the way their images turned out. I’m so looking forward to shooting their wedding in Boone this August!
Check out those awesome shoes!
Sweet Audrey is the FIFTH little one to join the Wood family. We go to church with Carl & Becca and all their kiddos and enjoy being around their family so much. Each of the kids are so precious but after spending time with little 5lb Audrey she has definitely won my heart. Yesterday, I announced on Facebook that Matt and I are expecting our second baby come Nov. 10th and so any time I get the chance to be around a newborn, I get so excited! Enjoy these precious images of Audrey and some of the whole family as well. Yes, they are all wearing matching outfits…. Becca is literally a super-mom, I don’t know how she does it!
I love the above images because they show how tiny she is.
Can’t get enough of baby feet!
The Kellers are such a special family to Matt, Oliver and myself. Kelly is my mentor and David leads the small group at our church, but really we just look up to them when is comes to all things life. Their youngest, Maddie even named her favorite monkey after our little guy so we don’t always know who she’s referring to when she speaks about ‘Oliver’. Most of the time it’s the monkey. The Kellers have five sweet and crazy kiddos- 4 boys (crazy) and 1 girl (sweet) and Kelly is an amazing homeschool mom while David works as an engineer. Kelly also has a super fun blog that she updates daily, so make sure to check it out. Although their life is crazy most all the time, we hope to be like them when we grow up!
Heather and I got the opportunity to do a shoot with their family and I love how the images turned out. Check out Heather’s blog to see what she captured.
Maddie is the 7th member to join the family so we thought this bench was perfect!
