To say that I love Kristina and Krestan would be a huge understatement! From the time that I met them to the close of their reception, they have been nothing but a JOY to work with. Kristina has such a sweet and gentle spirit and Krestan has a Godly integrity that I have seen in few. I have no doubt these two are going to make marriage look like a breeze.
Although their March Alexander Homestead wedding day turned out to be slightly chilly, the love and happiness in the air could not be tamed. Each family member and guest were thrilled for these two and it showed. You’ll see what I mean after taking a look at these images. Such sweet moments and emotion.

It has been a crazy week around the Tucker home. I always go a little stir crazy when I am stuck in the house for too long with a bunch of sickies, especially when I am one of them! I am convinced that seeing one of my kids sick has to be one of the worst things EVER. So. Glad. that’s over…

Brittany and Tyler were married the last weekend in February and despite the rainy day, everything turned out just perfect. I loved all of Brittany’s rustic details, touches of burlap, and the cowboy boots worn by the bridesmaids. These two have quite a few special little ones in their life and so this wedding was filled with adorable images of these children. I just couldn’t get enough of them! Brittany and Tyler elected to do a first look, where they see each other for a sweet and meaningful moment before the ceremony. I always love to photograph this and we were able to capture some gorgeous portraits of the bride and groom.

Jessica and Kyle’s ceremony was very sweet and in absolute perfect light! The reception was so fun and made being 37 weeks pregnant not feel too horrible. Their friends and family definitely know how to have a good time which always make for some great photos!

Jessica and Kyle’s wedding was absolutely lovely. They were married at the gorgeous Deerpond Plantation and the day could not have gone over more perfectly. I was 36 weeks pregnant while shooting this wedding and to be honest, I was pretty nervous going into it, but thankfully there were no complications. Thank you to all of Jessica and Kyle’s family and friends who were so gracious to me.

Jessica and Kyle elected to do a first look, where they chose to see each other in a private intimate moment before the wedding. I love when clients choose to do the first look, not only because it gives us lots more time for pictures but also because it is such a special time between the bride and groom and makes for wonderful images for years to come.
Amanda and Kerry’s reception was just as awesome as the ceremony! Such fun people and details to capture. I particularly had such much fun with the ring shots which is why there are 3 posted. 🙂

Happy October! This is my favorite month for so many reasons and I am so excited to share Amanda & Kerry’s gorgeous wedding on this day because, although it was in August, it reminds me of all things fall. Set smack in the middle of the beautiful mountains of Blowing Rock at the Inn at Crestwood, from the colors to the weather, this turned out to be the perfect day for a perfect wedding. Every time I have photographed this couple (engagements twice, bridals…) rain has threatened to ruin our plans so I just knew there was NO way it could happen for a 3rd time. Well, rain did threaten us and it even showered a couple of times, but thankfully it held off for the ceremony and gave us some amazing temperatures and overcast light.
Amanda and Kerry, I am so happy for you and wish you so many blessings in your marriage. You two were a joy to work with!

Breanne and Ryan are such a sweet and Godly couple and it was a joy to photograph their wedding. They were married at the adorable Saint Mary’s Chapel here is Charlotte. Breanne and Ryan decided to do a first look which allowed plenty of time for portraits and we even had some time with them after the ceremony. A photographers dream! There were so many sweet moments on their wedding day and I am so thankful to have been apart of it.
