Adam and Elise’s ceremony was so sweet and their reception was a blast! I am so happy for you two, and it was such a joy to be apart of your day. Check out Part I of this beautiful wedding here.
Enjoy!
I am so excited that I’m finally getting to share Adam and Elise’s wedding! Their wedding day was such a wonderful day filled with love and fun, not to mention the gorgeous details and location with SO MANY spots for awesome photos. They got married at Il Bella Gardens in Albermarle, NC and I absolutely loved shooting there. Adam and Elise are like family to me, so it meant a ton that I was able to shoot their wedding.
Adam and Elise chose to do a first look, which was such a sweet moment between the two of them as you will see. We were also able to do a lot of portraits with the bride and groom that I know they will cherish for years. A first look is definitely the way to go if you are on the fence!
Look forward to Part II coming soon!
Like I said in Part I, Ashley and Brian’s wedding details were amazing. Ashley’s shabby chic style was represented in a different way at every single table. Everything was given thought and beautifully decorated. I am also in love with the portraits we captured of Ashely and Brian in a gorgeous yellow wild flower field.
Ashley and Brian, it was such an honor to be apart of your amazing day. Please stay in touch!
Ashley and Brian’s wedding was a photographer’s dream. The details were unreal, as you will see Ashley thought of everything! So much color and style, I loved every minute of this wedding! The Farm at Brusharbor was a dreamy location as well. The outdoor ceremony was so gorgeous and the barn reception offered such a great backdrop for this stylish wedding. I knew from the first day I met Ashley and Brian their day was going to be perfect, and every expectation was met and exceeded. Enjoy the wedding of this adorable couple!
Brian and Ashley made such a sweet tribute to Brian’s late father by hanging a coat in his honor, and Brian pinned the boutonniere on after walking down the aisle. There was not a dry eye in the house.

So one of the things I loved the most about Katie and Adam’s wedding (besides the lovely couple) were the flowers! They are actually made of paper and were so gorgeous. Katie had them specially made from this Etsy Shop. I love that she added this unique twist to the wedding decor! Katie and Adam’s ceremony was such a sweet time and although the rain didn’t show any signs of letting up, everyone had a great time at the reception.
Katie and Adam, you are both such a blessing to be around. Congrats to you, marriage is going to be so fun!

This year has been crazy for rain, right? I have seen so many Facebook statuses talking about all the rain we are getting and they have now gotten to the point of, ‘enough with the rain, already!’. I think we could all use a little dry weather streak, but I could definitely argue that rainy seasons can be especially hard on a wedding photographer. I have shot 10 weddings this year, and it has rained at some point in the day at half of them! This can be super intimidating when trying to come up with a Plan B for portraits and creative images and it definitely takes a flexible bride and groom to play along.
So when I arrived at Carrigan Farms, I knew I was going to need my best rainy day Plan B because it was POURING. Luckily ‘flexible’ is Katie’s middle name and Adam is the most laid back person ever. This turned out to be one of my favorite weddings because we were able to do some awesome creative shots with the rain and Katie and Adam are just so enjoyable to be around. As Katie said at the wedding, if rain on your wedding day means good luck for marriage, they are going to have a pretty easy go of it! Although, I don’t think they are going to need much luck, these two are clearly made for each other.
Enjoy Katie and Adam’s sweet wedding day.

Mallory and Grant are great. I knew at their engagement session that their wedding day was going to be a breeze because they are just so easy to work with. The big day took place at the beautiful Cedarwood Country Club and we could not have had more perfect weather. Mallory and Grant decided to do a first look and I am so happy they did because we had a ton of time for portraits of just the two of them, which if you ask me, if one of the most important things to capture. I was able to have time with them before the wedding and then even more time after the wedding during sunset. Stay tuned for those images tomorrow!
Things have been crazy around here lately. It has definitely been my busiest photography season yet, and I am so thankful for how the Lord has provided for this business. My sweet and crazy little boys have been keeping me pretty busy too and I love every minute of it. There is a lot coming down the pipeline, so here’s a peek at what’s to come. Looking forward to sharing more soon!

If you missed Part I of Kristina and Krestan’s Alexander Homestead Wedding, check it out! We were able to capture lots of sweet and some hilarious moments during the reception. I even got to experience a first- Kristina’s sister-in-law, Lauren went into labor and had their sweet baby David that night! (at the hospital). Their last picture as a family of 3 is pictured below.
Thank you, Kristina, Krestan and families for treating us with such love and kindness. It was a blessing to be apart of such a special day!
