I can’t believe I am just now sharing some of my gorgeous 2017 weddings. Last year was a wonderful for year for us professionally and personally and I am excited to finally put some of the pretty things we shot out there in the world.

Holly and David’s wedding was the first of the year and it was a beautiful one of start out with. But more than beautiful, this couple was just the sweetest salt-of-the-earth kind of people that I love working with. Holly is from this area originally so her and I immediately bonded over being Charlotte unicorns who are actually from here! The day started at the home Holly grew up in. This is where the girls and guys go ready and then we did some portraits there. Holly expressed to me how much it meant to her to take some of her wedding portraits at the house her family built together. How special! Holly wanted to get married in her sweet little home church and so that is where her and David’s ceremony took place. There was standing room only in the church and it was so wonderful to see how many people came out to support them. Then, we headed over to The Mint Museum uptown where we spent more portrait time with the bride and groom and the party started. It was a perfect day and as I said, I couldn’t have picked a better wedding to start off the year with.
