Oh my goodness, I LOVE Misty and Shane! After being on maternity leave, I was so ready to pick up my camera and get to shooting again. These two made it so easy and totally reminded me why I love my job so much. We started out in Misty and Shane’s adorable backyard tucked away in the heart of Plaza Midwood. We then went to the area around where they had their first date, Central Coffee<\/a>. We also did a few shots with Misty and Shane’s beloved cats. I don’t typically post a lot of pet pictures but given the type of cats and how much these two love them, I couldn’t help myself. I’m not sure the cats were a fan of me, but I definitely enjoyed having them in front of my camera.<\/p>\n

During the session, Misty shared with me that she had always hated having her picture taken. I hear this a lot and I usually take it with a grain of salt, but when she shared that she had NEVER been in a single one of her high school yearbooks because of this, I knew she was serious. What an honor to be able to take Misty’s picture after so many years of her not wanting to be in any pictures at all. Misty, you rocked the camera and you are seriously BEAUTIFUL. Shane you didn’t do too bad either.<\/p>\n
